A Good Conclusion

Become part of the promise of the future

Part II.  The closing to Remerica Hometown One's Fall Kick Off Statement sent a strong message.  The Realtors in the room all took it to heart.  It went something like this...

This is a remarkable time of change.  Our recent past has been challenging and enlightening.  The future will bring further change, and further opportunity.  It is a time to build relationships, to foster close ties with friends, family and clients.  The real estate market in Southeast Michigan will improve daily, that is a FACT!  The real danger is that WE don't.  We must mirror our actions with the promise of the future, not the negativity of the past!  It will be the key to a coming decade of success!

This statement has been buzzing around the company, but as I wrote it, I just was saying what was, to me, the truth.  I have no doubt about an impending remarkable recovery in Michigan and in Metro-Detroit.  I feel it everyday.  Negativity has momentum, but not a monopoly on attitudes.  The real challenge will be if you can start thinking like the "future" before it happens.  If we all just come around when things get better, we become a bunch of "head nodders" instead of game changers.  Hope you are the latter and not the former.

Have a productive day!
